How we work
AAAK is a charity-based, non-profit association funded by donations and membership contributions. It does not give financial help to individuals; it works for the collective welfare of the community.
Our first priority is educational support for underprivileged children, starting with Shree Damaitar Basic School. We will gradually extend our work to healthcare, women’s empowerment and other social issues, as decided together by our members.
Decisions are made by consensus, and the work is done by volunteers who give their time.
Our guiding principle
“Serve the Nation and the World.”
Our theme: Together We Grow, empowering minds, hearts, education and community.
Our vision is a supportive, educated and empowered community in which every child has a safe place to learn, a quality education and the chance to grow with confidence and dignity.
How we make our work last
- 1
Education support and scholarships
Scholarships, materials, uniforms, books and learning resources for students from disadvantaged families.
- 2
School infrastructure
Fencing, libraries, roofing, furniture and safe, child-friendly learning spaces.
- 3
Community participation
Teachers, parents, alumni, local communities and volunteers share ownership of every programme.
- 4
Transparency and collaboration
Accountability and close coordination with schools and supporters.
- 5
Teacher training
Workshops and skills programmes that improve teaching and classroom management.
- 6
Long-term commitment
Continuous, step-by-step support that leaves a lasting impact.
